Each student chose a famous American to research and write a biography about. Our 5th grade buddies came down to listen to the biography reports. |

Animal research! Each child took their research and wrote a nonfiction book about their animal. |
Character Traits. After studying character traits each child drew a picture of themselves and wrote their own character traits. |
Students have been using iPad during our literacy and math rotations. After they listen to a Brainpop Jr. or read a news article they write up what they learned that day. |
Word Sorts! These help with reading unknown words as well as spelling skills. |
